Start with one real workflow

Bring an example from an ordinary working day: what starts the task, which systems are involved and what counts as finished? I review the steps with you and check access, data quality and exceptions before choosing a solution.

One possible first workflow is to add an approved enquiry to the CRM and create a follow-up task. We agree which fields are required and how duplicate records should be handled. This is an example of an approach, not a client case or a savings promise.

What the engagement can include

If n8n fits the need, we define a first delivery. You work directly with me, from assessment through testing and handover. We agree scope and price before implementation starts.

Mapping the trigger, data sources and expected outcome.
Integrations with the systems and permissions included in the scope.
Tests for normal execution, missing information and repeated requests.
Instructions for operation, troubleshooting and manual handling.

Decide what happens when a step fails

An interrupted workflow should not disappear silently or create duplicate records when retried. We decide what can be retried, what must stop and who receives an alert. Actions that send customer emails or change business records may need approval before execution.

AI can handle a bounded step, such as preparing a draft for review. Ordinary rules are appropriate for exact conditions. An agent's technical ability to access another system does not automatically put that access within scope.

Agree hosting and handover responsibilities

n8n offers a cloud service and self-hosting. Self-hosting needs someone responsible for updates, security and recovery. We compare the options with your requirements and who can operate the installation.

The delivery should have a named owner, documented connections and a way to stop the workflow. Ongoing operation, support and changes need a separate agreement if they are required after handover. I do not promise unattended around-the-clock support.

Describe the work that takes time today

Tell me which tools you use, how often the task happens and where someone has to intervene manually. Do not send passwords, customer databases or sensitive documents through the form. A description is enough to start; we can agree secure access if we proceed.
